Purple Dragon Head
Physostegia parviflora Nutt. ex A. Gray

 It is a fibrous-rooted herb with toothed or sometimes entire leaves. It is 8 to 24 inches tall. The flowers are purple to lavender and  borne singly in the axils of mall bracts.  It blooms in  July and August and is located in .wet meadows, shores and stream banks; lakes, marshes, and other moist, low places in the valleys and foothills; in Idaho along the upper Snake River Plains and the vicinity of Bear Lake.
