Tassleflower (Large-Headed Brickellia)
Brickellia grandefloria

Herbaceous perennial from long thickened roots. with yellowish white rayless flower heads in nodding clusters. It branches 12 to 30 inches tall with triangular leaves with toothed edges.  Flowers from July through October.  Grows in a wide range of habitats, often in rocky soil and varying according to size. Found in the Bear River Range and along the Snake River Plain in Idaho.
